As part of the current harmonisation initiative aimed at making systems better and easier for employers and workers, particularly those working in multiple states, it was identified that there was a need for a system providing mutual recognition of return to work
coordinators across state borders. This training session aims to assist participants to develop an understanding of the Workers Compensation legislation requirements in different jurisdictions and to aid reduce complexity and duplication for employers. It provides participants with the knowledge and skills to effectively manage workplace injuries and the return to work process in each of Vic,
NSW and QLD jurisdictions.
Who should attend?
This course is recommended for RTW coordinators, human resource managers and OHS managers with multi-state responsibilities. It is a prerequisite that participants must have completed either the Victorian, NSW or QLD approved Return to Work Coordination courses.Course content
