This session aims to increase participants ability to distinguish and document the differences between safe and hazardous manual handling (MH). The course provides participants with the knowledge of what safe manual handling technique looks and feels like, as well as getting participants to think of additional resources / equipment that promote safe manual handling for heavier tasks, using the hierarchy of control. The course includes theory, group discussion as well as practical examples of safe stretching and lifting.
