Even though the importation and use of Asbestos based products has been banned in Australia for many years, the incidence of Asbestos related disease is not yet decreasing.
There does not seem to be a week go by without a story in the media regarding Asbestos.
The complexity of the Asbestos components of the OHS Regulations 2017 testifies to the on-going concern that our regulators have over the risks associated with Asbestos in workplaces.
It is essential that all employers meet their duty of care with regards to the provision of information to employees on workplace hazards, including Asbestos.
Recovre has developed a 1.5 hour Asbestos Awareness session that will provide your employees with introductory information on Asbestos. The purpose is to provide some fact based information to assist with understanding the extent of Asbestos in workplaces, the community and the levels of risk.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, this session will be conducted via ZOOM in an online format
