MLO provides direct assistance with returning your injured employee to the workplace. We ensure that the work environment is safe and appropriately adjusted to support any remaining symptoms of work related injury.
Worksite assessments are conducted at the workplace with the employer and injured worker present. The assessment typically focuses on the physical or psychological requirements of the pre-injury duties and the requirements of alternative and modified duties. In consultation with the workers’ nominated treating doctor, this assessment is used to develop a suitable return to work plan for the individual.
Worksite assessments are also recommended when duties on the return to work program change or when an injured individual has been offered a new position.
Home visits can be arranged when the patient is unable to leave their home for physical or psychological reasons.
