MLO understands the importance of accurate medical reporting within the current workers compensation framework.
Impairment Assessments are a methodology for determining impairment of an individual with a permanent medical condition. They are commonly requested as part of an independent medical examination for a workers compensation or CTP claim.
Many of the members on our specialist panel are trained and accredited by WorkCover NSW and the Motor Accidents Authority in the provision of whole person impairment assessments.
All Impairments are assessed using the American Medical Association’s ‘Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment. The fourth edition text is used in the case of motor vehicle accidents with the fifth edition used for workers compensation related cases.
